Unforgettable Movements in the Field Trip - She is in Urban Village

The shooting is over, and this is a really interesting experience. During these days, many unforgettable things happened.

 

As mentioned before, now it is usually rainy in Guangzhou. Because of the influence of climate, it rained almost everyday during shooting, and the air was really humid, so our clothes were always wet even at rooms. To be honest, for a northerner like me, I am used to the dry air and can not tolerate the climate of Guangzhou, so I felt really convenient, and so do my companions. In contrast, the food is really delicious, and I really enjoyed. The snacks in Guangzhou is very famous because of the large variety and amazing flavours, and the fruit is really tasty and cheap such as mango, banana and litchi which are my favourite. Therefore, my view on Guangzhou is complicated. On the one hand, I can not tolerate the annoying weather; on the other hand, I really like food of Guangzhou. I think next time I will choose another season which is not so wet.

 

Besides, something happened in urban villages also left a deep impression on me. During the first day we went to the urban village, I wore a purple dress which attracted a lot of men’s attention. To be honest, this feeling was not good, and I changed to other clothes next few days. Because of this experience, I started to observe what women wear in urban villages, and understood more about these areas.

 

There are still some interesting memories, and I really cherish this experience of the field trip. During this field trip, I understood the conditions of urban villages and really learned a lot. I believe they would be helpful for my future researches.

 

Finally, I want to thank my companions. All of them are also northerners and do like the climate here, but they still tried their best to help me finish my film. I am very grateful to them for coming with me.
