Yang works as a telephone customer service agent which does not require makeup. So she usually gets up at 7:30, and the time between getting up and going out is only half an hour, which is just enough for getting dressed and washing.

Yang has a large room of her own, which is full of her innocence as a young girl.

A wall in her room is plastered with selfies of her and her boyfriend. Photographs of their happy memories over the years show how close they are.

In Yang's living room, a wall is decorated with traditional Chinese paper-cuts and the calligraphy: "Harmony brings wealth". It looks a bit rustic, but it shows the importance Yang and her family attach to family values.

Yang's family is in a very good financial situation. The furniture and furnishings in her home are newer and more expensive than those of the other two women. But she and her family live a very low-key and even spartan life.

China has the world's largest number of domestic migrants, with more than 100million female migrants in 2019. Yang has some interesting furniture in her house. The fan, for example, expands and folds automatically according to the remote control. This detail reflects the economic conditions of her family.

Yang rarely wears clothes worth more than 200 yuan, and she keeps telling people that she is poor. This is very contradictory compared with the fact that her family owns 6-7 buildings in the urban village.

Yang seldom eats breakfast at home. Most of the time, she chooses to pack a traditional Cantonese breakfast at the breakfast shop downstairs. The shop has been open in the urban village for many years, and Yang is used to the familiar taste.

After buying breakfast, she walks to the subway station at the entrance to the village and then go to work by subway. Since the construction of a subway near Kemulang Village, Yang's main traffic tool has switched from bus to subway. She rarely take a taxi, even though it is a 15-minute-walk from her home to the subway station.

Tonight, a friend she hasn't seen in a long time messaged her and asked her out to karaoke. It breaks her plan that go home after dinner and rest. She goes home to change a dress she hadn't worn for a long time.

As they haven't seen each other for a long time, they do not go back home until 11:30 tonight. On the taxi ride home, the two girls chat excitedly about their recent experiences.

After saying goodbye to her friends, Yang walks alone on the way to her house. The high heels look good but are not comfortable for her, who wears almost nothing but sneakers. When she is walking alone, she finally takes off her shoes. The moment she walks barefoot on the road, she truly releases herself.
